battle-shipWe are going to die’ is the punch line for the movie. The movie is shot on a sea where humans have to fight the aliens to survive. The aliens on the other hand have created a huge immobile construction that is well structured. Technology use by human beings here is of paramount consideration. Their ship named battleship has a role to play in delivery of victory. There is also an invention of a new planet similar to earth that has drawn huge attention. Love, power and victory just to mention a few are the main elements in the film. Aliens and human beings fight to establish who is powerful than the other. Aliens have their own way of doing things. Humans are left to usual inventions to conquer their enemies. At the sea, both parties have to fight to make it through. Battleship is going through a battle literally.
Cinematography used is perfect. One can see the distance between the aliens’ ship and battleship through shots taken showing heavy gunfire between the two. The sea is envisioned with rough and full blown winds that have been brought into view well. It’s plain that nature is the mother of creation. There are breathtaking scenes in the film. At the beginning, the sea looks calm and peaceful. This brings out a relaxing effect to the viewer. However an ambush in battleship causes people to fall while the ship swerves to a new direction. The director has done a tremendous job. This is one movie to enjoy and learn from. Aliens are a bit scary with pale wrinkled skin, they make a viewer to concentrate and learn who they are. In the end, battleship conquers the war.
The movie is age appropriate for everybody. The cast and crew have made quite a great effort to bring out such an interesting movie. In battleship the cast displays obedience by obeying their master to help bring down the aliens’ ship. This movie is age appropriate for everybody compared to transformers; battleship is a grand film full of unpredictable happenings.
