A beautiful wedding is brought to a halt after the bride is injured. He is shot after alleging that she is carrying a certain member’s pregnancy. After the ordeal se pays a visit to one of the gang members Vivica Fox. The two engage in a fight but its cut short after Fox’s daughter comes in. They reschedule the fight to nightfall where Vivica is killed by the bride. Another member of the gang plots on killing the bride but is stopped by a fellow member. The bride goes into a coma after being tortured and hit by a blunt object on her head. She later on recuperates and vows to take revenge on the assassination squad. She even travels to Japan to get the finest sword to kill them. Here she meets another member of the squad who is sorry for her actions and role played in the church mass murder. She however kills her and goes for the gang member. What is funny is that the latter knows the whereabouts of her daughter who she presumed was dead.
Kill Bill has great scenes worth watching. There is a beautiful display of the imminent fight between the bride and the squad members. Music playing in the background is soothing and relaxing. The fall of snow at the fighting scene is beautiful. What’s more are the actors’ faces of confidences worth emulating. We envision how nature controls the planet through the chilly weather and fall of snow in the locations. The visit to the mistress’ house is warm and welcoming. Lastly the fighting scenes are spectacular.
The film is not without fault. The sling that the mistresses’ assistant carries produces quite a scary sound. It’s long and attached to some kind of metal stone. It’s horrifying to see how the bride gets caught by it tightly on her neck. What’s deafening is the fact the assistant is killed in a cruel manner as blood spills from her eyes. There is tension between the bride and mistress when they confront each other. The mistress’ smile is wicked. It’s demystifying to watch the bride attack the driver and gag out one of her eyes. It’s further annoying when she steps on it. The snake bit is scary but this does not scare her.
This is a great movie with unsurpassed martial arts.
