Looper is a science fiction movie. ‘Time travel is the tagline of the film. It spins around a story of a rainmaker who works for the Looper Company. The company is responsible for terminating lives in a bid to reduce the number of lifeless bodies on earth. The technology used is top notch and involves extinction of lives of people who have been born in the future. Payment is made through the object where silver coins are fixed on the said body. Once an assassination is made then a looper gets his share. Bruce Wills betrays his best friend as a result, he lives in abject guilt. He manages to get a family which doesn’t last. Love, war and betrayal form some of the aspects shown in the film. There is therefore a hunt and competition for the next rainmaker.
Looper has been shot in a pleasant serene. Some scenes included sure feel like home. For instance at the diner, we are able to witness a nearby maize plantation. That’s a guarantee that life in this part of the country is smooth and what’s more is the provision of clean air. Further there is an appealing site of a powerful city built on a river.
Bruce Wills has a great sense of humor. He dares young Joseph to take a gun and shoot his own balls. This is ridiculous. There is a great combination of activities in the modern world and the future. A case in point is the film casts breathtaking photos of a city where people do the day to day tasks and leisure activities such as jogging. In the future it is clear that there are huge criminal organizations created to finish people. The type of guns used here are outclassed and unexpected. Fighting scenes incorporated therein are unique and fascinating. The aerial view of the city is unsurpassed. It brings into view a beautiful combination of nature and technology. At some point Bruce is forced to bomb a building so as to locate his target. The blend of fast motion pictures is amazing. It’s for this reason that I recommend looper to everyone. For sure you will not regret.
Looper is no doubt a remarkable film.
