Mr. Bean’s holidays is a laughable comedy that still trends up to date. ‘Mr. Bean is ready for his dream vacation’ the story revolves around a lottery winner, Rowan Atkinson. Amazed by this experience, he decides to tour the world and as a result have fun. After missing his destined train, he hops into the next train and gets to enjoy the diverse French food. He also creates a ruckus which he cleans up hurriedly escaping the consequences. He is reunited with a little boy at the train whom they develop good friendship relations. What lingers in our minds is the question; will Mr. Bean make it to his destination?
The film is hilarious. Rowan wets his pants by mistake and ends up drying them at the toilet dryer. This is really funny given the fact that he is caught by a layman visiting the same toilets. Atkinson’s face is puzzled leaving us in an ending moment of laughter. The way Rowan mumbles phrases is very funny. He cannot utter any word clearly thus creating a series of laughs to the viewer. His dancing is way out of the world. However this attracts the locals earning him quite a lump sum of money. The film has been able to grasp Atkinson’s bizarre adventures. For instance Mr. Bean has attached toothpicks on both eyes to prevent him from dozing off. This is one irresistible and amusing scene. He’s feeding at the hotel is quite amusing. What’s more is how he licks the wet laptop to dry it. This is really laughable.
Mr. Bean’s holidays has an outclassed use of visual effects. The film maker has captured appealing scenes. The grand hotel that Rowan makes his way to has a sophisticated, unique and antique architectural view. Further, the fields are beautiful and endowed with yellow flowers like spring. The cinematographer has also been able to capture Rowan climbing a hill at the same moment reflecting nightfall times. I cannot overlook the beautiful cycling grasped in the film. All this makes it award winning. Rowan Atkinson never disappoints. Mr. Bean holidays is age appropriate for each person. Sit back and enjoy the unending adventure of Mr. Bean.
Laughter is the best medicine.
