You don’t need to help us’ is the punch line of the movie. A young couple is faced with demise after ghostly attacks on their friends. Fire breaks out of a house forcing the couple to rush and assist. Gabriel finds himself in a room which he can’t clearly ascertain. He is faced with outbreaks of painful boils on his face and memory lapse. An evil spirit has tormented several people in the town just like Gabriel. In one instance, Gabriel and his girlfriend help a friend who later develops vibrant seizure leading to her unperfected death. She is deemed to be dead but that’s not the case. She awakens in a totally different body, speaking with a ghostly voice and possessing blurred eyes. The ghost deceives the friend by telling him to come close and kills him. Gabriel’s girlfriend is forced to hibernate in a bid to protect her life. Almost everybody in the small town has transformed into a ghost that is pretty scary.
Spectacular scenes in the movie make it worth watching. For instance, where the film opens and Gabriel is seen staring at his beautiful girlfriend. Further, the couple cracks jokes about each other’s name. The house can’t be overlooked. It has been decorated in a beautiful and adorable way. Cinematography displayed in the film makes it definitely award winning. There is fantastic lighting under dim lights. An example of this is in the scene where the duo helps the victims in a wooden isolated cabin. Shots taken here at different angles capture the scene as if it were real. The cast and crew have also done a fantastic job by sticking to the plot.
The hive is not without fault. Some scenes are pretty scary. At one point, Gabriel’s girlfriend is startled at the thought of driving. Besides the pictures of demon possessed people is frightening. The director has done a great job since the plot shows no sign of weakness. The movie is fit for all everyone. The hive has a thrilling experience. Can’t get enough of it
